About Me
Bio
I’ve been singing since I was a young child. I’ve performed in musicals, operas, dance halls, churches, fairs, and pretty much everywhere-even small restaurants or family gatherings. My first real role was Martha in “Let George Do It.” Since then, I call the stage my second home. There is just something about doing what you love and seeing the impact you have on others as they listen. I was born in Dallas, Texas in 1970. When I was one, my family moved to Littleton, Colorado. As of January 1, 1994, I call San Antonio my home where I am currently teaching voice lessons, judging pageants, coaching pageant contestants. I am also promoting my self-produced album, “Lone Star Lonely” which I recorded in Nashville. My two single releases, “Ain’t No Heartache” and “Tied to the Wheel of Runaway Heart” were both Top Album Cuts the Gavin Magazine’s Country Chart. Gavin is one of three trade publications for the music industry. I am so happy to know I “made it”!!
I began piano lessons when I was seven years old and participated in many musicals and plays in Elementary School, Junior and Senior High. I then attended the University of Denver Lamont School of Music and received a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Music with a minor in Business Administration. Some of the singing ensembles I’ve participated in are the San Antonio Symphony Mastersingers, Lamont Opera Theater, Lamont Jazz Choir, The Ensemble Experience, Colorado Children’s Chorale, Opera Colorado as well as many churches and organizations. I have also performed at fairs, trade shows and dancehalls and have been in several productions including: Don Giovanni, La Boheme, Die Meistersinger, Hansel and Gretel, Guys and Dolls, The Pajama Game, Little Mary Sunshine, The Most Happy Fella, Fiddler on the Roof and Brigadoon. In addition to my interest in computers, advertising and marketing, I have also been trained in speech, modeling and acting. When I have free time, I love roller skating, horses, dancing, and going to museums.
